Dr. Matthew Bauer has been a Chiropractor in private practice treating humans in his hometown of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, since 2011. He attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic for certification in Animal Chiropractic. He is also Board Certified in Animal Chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA), which is recognized as the world leader in animal chiropractic care and is the primary national credential in North America. Dr. Bauer went to Oklahoma State University for undergrad where he originally planned to attend vet school with hopes of specializing in Equine Medicine before a personal experience with chiropractic care inspired his career path. His lifelong love and passion for animals made the move into Animal Chiropractic a natural fit.

With dedication and the desire to serve both humans and animals, he has had the opportunity to treat professional equestrian athletes across the state of Oklahoma along with traveling both locally and across the state making farm calls. He is partnered with CEP Equine Sports Medicine in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, providing Equine Chiropractic Care working alongside Dr. Shawn Warren, DVM. Dr. Bauer works primarily on-location with CEP on Tuesdays & Thursdays, but will travel and make farm calls throughout the week and weekend with a travel fee and minimum number of horses to service.
